The Briza Story

Inspired by the great Srivijaya Empire, which flourished along the shores and among the islands of Southeast Asia a few centuries ago, the resort is a haven of ease and tranquility. Here, on idyllic Samui Island, The Briza recaptures the spirit of Srivijaya, the lightness and grace of its art, the security and serenity that springs from a civilization moulded by the gentle Buddhist faith. This heritage of a rich and glorious culture is complemented by the splendour of nature. Set against a lush backdrop of palms and forested hills are Samui's superb white sandy beaches and quiet coves bathed by the clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand. All is a wondrous celebration of the exotic.

Location

Located right on famous Chaweng beach, only 5 minutes from Samui International airport and only a few minutes stroll to the centre of Chaweng shopping area.

Koh Samui with its white sandy beaches, lush tropical climate and cool blue waters was first discovered by backpackers in the early 1970's. With infrastructure and development pressing foreword, Koh Samui quickly became the Riviera of South East Asia, but still remains its classical image of tropical beach fringed by coconut palms

Accommodation

Designed in a contemporary recreation of Srivijaya style, accommodation at the briza comprises exquisite villas that afford the luxury of sheer space and the comfort of amenities blending the traditional with the sophisticated.

The choice of accommodation ranges from Pool Access Villas, each of 140 square metres, to Beachfront Villas with large private pools, of 200 square metres. All have dressing area with bath tub and a separate shower room. Each villa further provides a spacious private terrace, ideal spots for in-room spa treatments, while natural materials are widely featured to create an ambience in harmony with the surroundings. Amenities include individually-controlled air conditioning, refrigerator with mini-bar, tea/coffee maker, in-room safe, satellite television, hair dryer, IDD phone, DVD player and Internet port.
